Not sure if you are trying to turn this into a left versus right tit for tat as i hate them both, but yes I agree, news should report facts, not propaganda. Agreeing with you, the earlier posts seem to miss that aspect though

It's been suggested that Rittenhouee has a potential case against Biden himself, given that Biden labelled him a white supremacist on Twitter a couple of months prior to his election. So the various Presidential immunities would not apply LOL đ. You really hate the Democrats. which once again is amusing for someone thatâs never been to America and has their entire opinion of a country from online. tell us your thoughts on crab fishing in the articâ. Hatred is more of a leftist thing. Not really my cuppa Do you have anything relevant to the topic to contribute or are you just going to fling sh!t from the sidelines as usual?

It doesn't seem right that both Biden and Harris have come out and said they disagree with the Courts decision to acquit Rittenhouse. I mean doesn't that sort of talk encourage riots? They shouldn't be commenting

Either way, the guy killed people.
He got lucky.

sure, but he was acquitted. If the person holding the highest office in the land doesn't want to accept that, then that smells like a political statement.

But gee he really looked the typical whiny kid that was picked on at school and now he has a gun and was out to show he was now a tough guy.

But gee he really looked the typical whiny kid that was picked on at school and now he has a gun and was out to show he was now a tough guy. www.cbsnews.com/news/kyle-rittenhouse-trial-drone-video-fatal-shooting/The USA should be taking a long hard look at gun control. They have people little more than children running around with weapons in the name of protest on both sides of the debate. Truth is none of them are particularly engaged with the issue and they all want to fight and run around feeling tough and or fell engaged with a cause. In that environment I don't doubt for a second that all parties likely felt their live's were at risk. But: The two people shot dead were unarmed: Before examining the substance of Rittenhouseâs defense, itâs worth reviewing the caseâs undisputed facts. Bystandersâ cell-phone videos establish that 36-year-old protester Joseph Rosenbaum chased Rittenhouse into a parking lot, shouted âf*ck you!,â and threw a plastic bag at his back; that a different protester fired a gun into the sky, and immediately following this shot, Rittenhouse ceased fleeing and turned around; that Rosenbaum then moved toward Rittenhouse, who proceeded to fire four times. After Rittenhouse killed a person for throwing a plastic bag at him, other folk thought they should perhaps do something:Those shots attracted the attention of nearby demonstrators. One ran up behind Rittenhouse and hit him in the head, another kicked the gunman to the ground. Then, 26-year-old Anthony Huber whacked Rittenhouse with a skateboard and appeared to reach for his rifle; Rittenhouse shot Huber through the heart, instantly killing him. After killing two people with an AR-15 like weapon, the next person brought out his hand gun, did not shoot Rittenhouse, who once more feeling threatened for his life, chose to shoot once more, no effort to calm the situation. Under Wisconsin law, you can kill people in self-defense if you reasonably believe that doing so is necessary to spare yourself or others from imminent bodily harm or death. This belief need not be accurate. Nor must it be reasonable from an objective perspective. It only needs to be reasonable from the subjective point of view of the shooter in the moment he or she pulls the trigger. By their wacky laws, it is reasonable to kill some one for throwing a plastic bag as that is apparently cause to feel you are in danger. Again it doesn't even matter if it's a genuine fear, just as long as you believe it, you can take your gun and go to town.

There is just a lot of stupid all round-stupid taking a gun to the riot, stupid chasing a guy with a gun, stupid attacking a guy with a gun, stupid attacking a guy with a gun after he has shot someone. No shortage of stupid. Goes to show how in hightened situations reasonable and rationale decision making is lacking. What did the first guy who chased KR and threw the bag at him plan on doing, stopping KR and having a calm rationale discussion? There was a mob lynching mentality in full effect, indeed he had already threatened to kill KR before chasing him...

I was thinking similar. This is what happens when you have âgood guys with gunsâ. While his original intention may have been good, once he starts firing people without context now see him as a âbad guy with a gunâ and try and do the right thing. You now have a situation where Rittenhouse thinks he is a âgood guy with a gunâ the rest are out to get him. It will never end well. Maybe the onus of self defence needs to be different when you enter a situation armed and others are not.
Anyway in the âland of the free access to semi automatic weaponsâ we know that wonât happen .

I only have problem with the "self-defence" argument on the grounds that he put himself into the position that he ended up in. You don't carry an AR for "self-defence" (unless you're in a warzone). In an urban environment its a strike weapon.
I think Roxii nailed it earlier when he said

They try to confront him with that most deadly of weapons a skateboard, while he is holding an AR in fear for his life after the only person killing anyone in this scenario is the guy with the AR, so he juts goes well bang your dead now. So in fear for his life he finds a guy with a pistol who once more doesn't shoot the guy with the AR who killed two unarmed people, but the guy with the AR shoots him. What exactly was making this guy so fearful as he is the one killing people without guns when he has a heavy duty weapon?

What if KR hadn't shot the guy who was chasing him, who had told him he was going to kill him, this guy then takes his gun and kills him as he had threatened to do? There is no winner in this argument, its a cluster f*ck of very poor choices. Would I be happy with the guy with the pistol shooting KR.. I'm not 'happy' with anyone being shot. The question is was KR a threat to pistol guy, did pistol guy draw his gun to defend himself. Who's the aggressor and who is acting in self defence. At which point was KR a threat to pistol guy, was KR trying to evade or actively seek out further confrontation?

The fact this guy was acting aggressively and making threats to kill against someone carrying a gun shows his level of mental incapacity and further proves what a risk he represented.

Yep, well said. Though I'm not sure I agree re the onus of self defence. If I have a gun and am surrounded by a group of people threatening to kill me then my thoughts would definitely be I have to shoot them or they will get my gun and kill me. The fact the group doesn't have a gun isn't really the point. The point is they have made their intentions clear and it is now my responsibility to defend myself.

We don't know what rittenhouse said to the guy he killed leading up to the incident as he is well, dead. The video of the chasing is shown, the guy was armed with a plastic bag. rittenhouse turns and kills him. People who see this guy kill an unarmed man attempt to stop him killing people with a skate board, so he shoots one of them dead to. In this scenario would you be happy with the guy with the pistol just shooting rittenhouse as he was in fear of his life then, some one else shooting the guy with the pistol and so on until everyone is well shooting everyone else. The poor innocent peaceful protester armed with nothing more than a plastic bag chased after rittenhouse shouting 'I'm going to kill you" before cornering him and trying to take his gun The poor innocent peaceful protester with the skateboard was clobbering rittenhouse over the head with it... after he had shot an unarmed person, any way this place is going back to the was of old place which is not coming back.

You also seem to be constantly overlooking the fact that one of the other BLM protesters fired the first shot. So you have KR being chased by a guy threatening to kill him, a gun shot is fired by the guy who told Rosenbaum to get KR...woukd have been a very scary situation for KR no?
