Anyone know how some of the old Trannies are going who were having injury/health problems?
Was it IFoz (Andrew?) who hit the back of the ute on his bike with serious consequences?
And Take It Easy & AP were up for prostate surgeries? Going there myself in a few months. Fun times!

I’ve bumped into AP a couple of times on the track around UQ in the last week or so. Running ok.

That was IronmanFoz that almost got wiped out. I haven't heard lately, but he was responding to some FB posts recently so I guess he's on the improve. I should send him a message. I'm sporting a broken humerous at the shoulder ball after a crash on the Corso on the Wednesday before Sunny Coast 70.3. Fortunately avoided surgery, but stuffed up that race and Noosa this week (still going up there to cheer). It was cited at the Cycos annual lunch that I clearly have an aversion to racing in October. I'll be treading and cycling very carefully in the next 12 months leading up to Kona 2022. I've still got months of physio ahead to regain the range of motion in the shoulder. The bone is healing well though, phew.
AP is back hosting the swim squad this week. But since I cannot cycle, to get to the pool, I haven't been going to mid week swim squads to do kick sets (cannot rotate my right arm).
I cannot wait to get back to (proper) swim, bike and running.

Foz is due to leave hospital in a few weeks, he's been doing a bit of walking and swimming with the physios. Still haven't been able to visit him yet, but will hopefully do so soon

Spoke with Foz on NYE. He is finally leaving hospital in the coming weeks - should be near the end of Jan. That means he has been in hospital since April 2021. A long time to be away from home.
Wishing him well.

Wishing him well. FM That's good. Any news on the cause of the accident? My mates boss is also facing a long recovery by the sounds, though not as long as Foz. Seems likely he had a Fly6 or similar on his bike & the accident investigator is a keen cyclist so hopefully justice will be done if warranted.

No. Not something we talk about.
