What do you use when training indoors?
How does it work for you?
What do you love?
What do you hate?
What does it cost?
What equipment do you need?
Heard of something new on the market?
Show us your pain cave.

I tend to use Zwift. Mainly because it's easier than Rouvy and FulGaz... LOL
I find the elevation changes more linear and therefore easier. But, FulGaz and Rouvy are more like outdoor riding. But if you gave me a choice I'd ride Zwift because I'm lazy.
Have a little bit of strength stuff. Some kettle bells and stretch cords. Fit ball and throw down ball. All squeezed into the garage.
Not sure how to post a photo. 👍👍

Tried Fulgaz but found it weird how if you stop peddling the footage keeps rolling. If I don't pedal at all I'm guessing u finish the entire ride at zero Watts?

Whilst the rolling resistance isn't "perfect ", certainly if you stop pedalling when you're climbing you'll stop within a few seconds. Never been that interested in Zwift. Graphics are too much like an 80's Atari video game to me ( never been a gamer )

Sounds like you were in "Steady" mode which goes at the speed of the filmer, try putting it in reactive mode, then you will see the difference (or Erg mode).

That does sound like what would have happened. Whilst there is the temptation to ride in "Steady", I always ride in "Reactive". I would be conning myself if I rode the 45km Kona #2 segment in the 62 minutes the original "filmer" did it in.

By preference, Sufferfest. - for specific workouts. Rouvy has some god courses, and it is nice being able to visit places you have never been (or remember where you have been before) Zwift gets used more than the others, but only as it intergrates with Training Peaks, so a workout gets built in TP, and then is automatically imported into Zwift (Which is SUF had this functionality, then I would drop Zwift tomorrow)

Very true Dave, the other exception is that when you're doing a specific workout in Fulgaz, then its best to set it to Steady mode, so that your 5 min effort is actually 5 mins. If your doing a workout (loaded from TrainingPeaks or anywhere else), the amount of time at a prescribed wattage is the key session, then doing it in Reactive mode stuffs the workout up. eg: a prescribed effort for 5mins at 95% followed by 1min at 40%, repeated will not align to the correct timing and your workout value is lost. My favourite choices in Fulgaz: - General riding - Reactive - duration will be dependant on the effort I put in compared to the original filmer (in Kona video -the rider is strong and takes just over 5h)
- Workout - Steady - the duration will match my workout exactly (but ensure the length of the video chosen is longer than you planned workout - otherwise the ride finishes before your workout is complete).
