Anyone used the On Running shoes as yet? Any thoughts - particularly on longevity, what shoe they are close to etc. Considering buying a pair as an option to complement the Brooks Adrenalines I usually use these days

Never heard of them! They look interesting though.

I had a pair of the cloud Surfers. I really liked them, but less than 6 months and the front lugs blew out. They replaced them, and the replacements lasted about the same. About a year later after knee surgery and podiatrist I found out I was pushing off pretty much on the balls of my feet, rather than the toes/big toe. So I think that's why the lugs wore out early on mine. Otherwise I liked them, and found them pretty comfy.

I just bought a pair of On Cloud Flows a few weeks ago. So far I'm pretty impressed. They are a firm shoe, but not quite as firm as my beloved Brooks Asterias, so I can do some fast running on bitumen in them. I was also super impressed at how well they gripped in the wet...

Used a few iterations over the last 8 or 9 years. Really great in the dry, squeak like crazy in the wet and their trail offerings are rubbish IMO. I do like them on the dry road though, especially the old Cloud Racer.
These days my road rotation are: Hoka Rincon 2 (on my 4th pair), NIKE Peg 37 and NIKE Next% (A races only!)
