Whilst it was in the news, it seems to have been dropped quickly. Australia rice exports vary but the ten year average is 630,000 tons p.a. I am not too sure if this could affect the market. I only have rice a handful of times a year. Does anyone else eat it much ? FM RICE

We have three types of rice maybe 5 times a fortnight. We also have pasta, potatoes and beans in terms of carbs. I like rotation.

Since marrying an Irish girl, my carbs moved from rice to potatoes. Think rice is once a fortnight with stir fry at home, or when I eat out

I work on a mine site in a Asian county so rice is an option for every meal including breakfast. They have this brown rice that is not like anything I have had in Australia. It is quite puffy. I really like it.
