This does deserve a thread here. Into the 80s. You've got to be impressed.

I am impressed, wish I could find a way to fund doing half of it (100x70.3, not 50x140.6)

I think even doing a sprint triathlon daily for 100 days would be impressive.

You do wonder though if its so long an endeavour that its hard to keep the momentum of the interest up in the media etc.

He would have to be there thinking "85 - I'm almost done" and yet on the other hand thinking "Jesus, there's still 15 to go"!!

Really enjoying the feat, really not enjoying his social media. You'd think the guy was getting beheaded in Syria. Sure, it tough but the turn of phrase could use a little coaching.

What would you do if you finished 100 ? I think I would get a few massages, have a few sleep-ins and then spent a few weeks in and out of medical supervision. The body must have a reaction after all that stress.

He's right there. All the bullsh!t buzzwords, inspiring, committed, soldier, blah blah but dayum, this is pretty amazing. 3 and a half months of anything for 14 hours is impressive. This cat did 226km of exercise. Hats off.

Its amazing on so many levels 1. He didnt catch covid with so many people around him. 2. His body has held up after early issues 3. His mind held up. 4. The great support of others. I assume the same woman has done every swim with him too.

His body has held up, but in some of the photos he looks truly awful. Hunched over and all out of sorts.
Don't get me wrong, I think its an amazing effort, but I wonder if there will be any long term affects.
