So I am about to start working with a running coach. Never had a coach before and never really trained to a plan before. Intervals are the just the times between meals to me.
What do I need to know? How do I get the most out of a coach for me?
I have some goals and A/B races, but what are the little things that make a difference.

Communication is key - you will be the driver of the majority of what to be successful

I echo what they ^^^ have said with trust them, do what they say and communicate. I do have a caveat though - just because the program given says to run 6x1km @ x.xx pace, if you have a niggle, or are just not feeling it after your warm up and strides, don't do the session. Have an easy run, or just go home. Don't be a slave to the program.
I need to read this on repeat.
