So why bother testing. Its a Massive waste of money. Maybe everyone should be like golf, nhl, nfl, mlb If you do get busted for some dumb reason, 4 weeks is enough. Yeah I don't know why they bother. Gatlin's not the brightest light in the harbour, if he can get away with it for so long, anyone can.

What would the compo claim be for? Asada should have never released information about the positive test before the athlete had the b tested. and given its proven He’s negative on the b. His name and reputation have been damaged forever. personally its worth A few million.

To sue would see it go Civil and balance of probabilities with SIA arguing doping. Bol has clearly stated h Eid not suing - which is telling enough. All PR with Australian Champs this week.

I thought he was guilty from the outset, but now it seems that there has been an almighty cockup in the testing procedure. Not only is the testing for EPO very complex, open to interpretation etc it's also quite easy to get false positives. And on top of that, apparently the lab were taking shortcuts. This prompted Bol's agent to actually spend 22 hours observing the testing of the B sample to ensure all procedures were followed to the T. He should be taking legal action, his reputation has been tarnished.

ZED,i said a few pages back that based on nothing more than having met and talked with him on a number of occasions at the track in Langford that i thaught he just didnt come across as a cheat.
Its interesting that the guys i run with who have also talked at the track with him were all of the same opinion that he wasent a cheat.Usually you will always get the people, like on here, who love the tall poppy syndrome thing and will see everyone as a cheat.
So sure based on lots of cases people caught will mostly always say they are innocent but maybe in this instance he is the straight up guy that he appears to be.
What i am happy about is that when you see him at the track and the junior kids are there his interaction with them is amazing and he is always giving of his time to help and pass on tips, its good that at this stage the kids arnt left dissapointed by the whole thing.

It's so hard to know these days. So many likeable athletes over the years have been popped. And then in cycling, you've got a whole bunch of guys who didn't even want to dope, but weren't threatened, blackmailed coerced etc I think with Bol, the one thing he had going for him, that I thought would suggest he was innocent, is there wasn't a massive jump in performance that you would expect with someone that was doping.

I still think he would be insane to not sue them.
They have tarnished his name and brand and potential future earnings.
