As prompted by Roxii,
Whatta ya do besides SBR, Ultras, MTB...?
Me- Gone back to my roots. Motorbike riding. Used to race Enduro and Cross Country in Victoria. Best I managed for a season was top 20 in the 250 four stroke class. That wasn't through ability just through persevering and racing all the rounds 😂😂👍🤷👍😎 Currently own a Beta EVO 250 factory trials bike. Joined a club here in Perth and have found it to be great fun. And it's an easier crowd to mix with, my type of people. I'm practising and training(nothing serious due to ongoing fatigue illness) to be ready for the Winter Series which starts in June. There are heaps of Trials from March through to November. It's rad. The other part of the sport, the bike maintenance and up keep is also fun. I genuinely have missed dirt bikes.
I miss being able to make out my rib cage too, but you can't have everything in life 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
So what's your "other"?

The last few years have gone back to 2 old loves:
Taekwondo and collecting comics. I used to have a massive collection of Frew Phantoms and gave away my collection of some 700+ issues when I was 25 and moving to Vic. I'm now at 830 out of 1,920 possible issues. Also getting back into the Commando comics which were my second favourites, currently managed to build up around 600 of these, including one I picked up at a market that is roughly worth $500 based on my research (was in a group of around 250 of them I bought for $200). Taekwondo been back into for 18 months, just started teaching classes again this year which I possibly missed the most - got a couple of good kids in the class I'm hoping to coach through to state champs as they get a bit more experience.

My older brother used to collect Commando comics in the 80's and early 90's. I wasn't allowed to touch them 😂😂🤷 It's interesting how people seem to gravitate towards a fun "childhood" past time. My Dad is like mid 70's and builds model airplanes etc. He's a nut for them. One whole wall in his study is model kits "yet to be built 🤷😂😂 He'll need to get to 150yrs old to get through them 😂😂😂 which is OK by the way because he makes wicked Fig Jam 👌😎

I try and get out to boulder outdoors locally when I can, as rockclimbing was the sport I dedicated myself to prior to Triathlons. The later was to fill the void after officially retiring due to destroying my elbows. They still don't allow me to train, but amazing what you can still climb with good technique and they tolerate a session once a week... Do get out (infrequently) during summer months on the Ocean Ski. Most recently I have been collecting classic cars and looking to get into motorsport. Been attending Historic race meets as a spectator and decided I would like to be on the other side of the Armco barriers. Result was recently purchasing a Cheetah Mk6 - historic Australian Formula 2 car which am in the process of recommisioning before I can get it out onto the track.

If my wife and I ever get time off at the same time, we like to go for a drive and do some Geocaching. Also like to do so whenever we are travelling. We have found caches all around Australia and in a dozen Countries around the world.

Rode in Pinjarra at Round 4 of the Prestige Winter series last weekend. Was an absolutely beautiful property. Steep rolling hills and granite boulders everywhere. Very very muddy in parts and extremely wet. My bike took on some water and was unridable at the beginning of the 4th lap so I took 5's for the last 5 sections.
35/40 sections complete. Body was totally exhausted. Fatigue has come back to haunt me so I will be helping out with the running of the events and observing for the rest of the year until I get some energy back, and my health improves.
Unable to figure out how to post a picture. Have a cracker from the pits looking West.

You post a picture using "reply" instead of "quick reply". There are a lot more options when you use that.

I have no idea the extent to which mobile and desktop differ as I only use desktop and the one time I was on mobile, I didn't notice any difference.
I've turned off quick reply so everyone now will see the full reply box with the options available.

Actually, I just looked on the phone, it doesn't seem to allow much other than typing words.
I'll turn quick reply back on as having it off makes the web version a bit clunkier.

I have way too many hobbies outside of SBR - fly-fishing, model/diorama building, collecting old Matchbox model kits.
Recently getting into diorama's with LEDs added. Here's a couple of build videos. After watching 'Drive to Survive' I just had to build the Grosjean Bahrain crash scene.

For the first few years working in Mongolia I only learnt a few words in Mongolian. Through the pandemic I have made a concerted effort to learn how to speak and read Mongolian. During the soviet era the Cyrillic alphabet was introduced to replace Mongolian traditional script. During my many quarantines I have been taking a 1 hour lesson every day. Normally I take two 1 hour lessons a week. I now have the vocab of a 10 year old and the grammar of a 5 year old. I can't really have a conversation yet as people speak too quickly for me and no one can understand my heavily Australian accented Mongolian. My team appreciate my efforts to learn and speak Mongolian. I am finding it really difficult to learn a language. It makes me appreciate how hard it is for migrants to Australia to learn English. I am enjoying the lessons and the challenge of learning something new. Each night I try and watch some cartoons, TV shows or the News to try and improve my language skills.

I used to work overseas and it was a French speaking nation, I also took the time to learn French, whilst I found it incredibly difficult to learn I stuck with it. The benefits were huge with my team and they also really appreciated it. I became fluent with it and have kept my skills up. We’ve recently had a French girl start with us at work here, she moved to Australia 7 yrs ago with no English skills and has taught herself English, well wasn’t she surprised when I started a conversation in French with her.

Learning anything new as an adult can be challenging.
Languages - spoke German at home growing up. Didn't appreciate it at the time as was forced to learn German all the way through school including my VCE. Glad I have a second language even though very rusty now as only still talk to my mum in German. In Europe as soon as people knew I spoke English they wanted to practice their English!
When I got my dual citizenship with Malta, I went to Maltese language classes run at the Melbourne Maltese club for a number of semesters. Now that is a tough language!
Did one semester of Japanese at Uni (Introductory Business Japanese) which included us learning Katakana and Hiragana. Unfortunately forgotten this but been trying to relearn via CD lessons as want to head back as soon as borders open.
Latest challenge has been using lockdowns to learn to play Instruments.
Last year second lockdown I wasn't in a good spot mentally till I decided to try and do something positive. Bought an Strat copy after a month committing to playing my old dusty acoustic every day. Still playing daily and really enjoying it.
Latest purchase only a few months ago is a full acoustic drum kit. Been playing most days too since I built a tennis ball drum riser.
Plan for lockdowns 2022 is buy a Bass guitar. One instrument per year!
