Every female age grouper got a spot to Kona Why? Has there been some massive rule change about Kona qualifying? Or were there only a handful of AG females racing?

No one has claimed any Kona (or Nice) slots at IMNZ yet. The roll down hasn't started. If it goes the same way that it did in December, then yeah, any woman who shows up and wants a slot would get one. But that's to be determined.

They have inflated the female kona spots in an attempt to fill the field. In the imnz race before Christmas women got in with 16hr finishes. wait until you see cairns this year. There are about 200 female spots. That with those already qualified at imnz x 2. Busso and port, will mean they all get a kona spot if they just finish. not the women’s fault, but a joke none the less.
