Bike Rumor articleI probably would not want to be beta tester or early adopter for these ones. Your thoughts?

I do not have electronic gears. However being able to change gears and use the brakes while on my aero bars would be great.

agree wouldn't want to test although if set with a fail closed mode, could be slightly safer from the article sounds like replacing how the hydrolytic fluid is pushed to the brake pads, rather than the brakes having a servo motor or creating a magnetic field around the rotor to create braking

Another cycling solution (gimmick) looking for a problem?

The only justification I can think of for this is if some kind of ABS system could be introduced. But then you would need wheel speed sensors and the like and is locking brakes a bigger problem than braking too hard and going over the bars?
Remote levers on the aero bars sounds great, but I really wouldn't want to be braking while in the aero position!
