Is awesome. Makes me almost consider taking on a project myself (always liked the idea of dropping in a modified supercharged V6 2GR-FE into an MR2 as a track hack then quickly remember how many years those guys have been working on the mini and that is with their skills...

My cousin dropped a VTEC in a Mini, that was a hell of an effort. I would love to build a Caterham 7, but I think that will many years into the future.

I stupidly keep looking for more projects when I haven't even started work recommisioning the Cheetah Mk6 Australian Formula Two car I bought late 2019!

A couple of months ago I nearly bought a mini with a mid mounted 12A Rotary that was for sale up in Wollongong! Procrastinated a few days including looking at border closures and phoned too late... Engine was too far back to gain traction from comments on a video I found from many years ago, so not the best to throw around the track but always have wanted to own a Rotary!

Had to cut into the firewall a bit and do some fancy engineering, but there is a fair bit of info out there on doing it now. It's now a little quicker than it was when it started life as an 850 Sport (twin SUs!!!). Hopefully will see you at the Island historics with the Cheetah oneday.
