Take it easy Sammy. Now is not a time to be pushing boundaries, monitor yourself carefully. Kind of a grey zone run for me. It wasn't hard but definitely above easy pace. 14km, 1hr13 @5.15 pace. Yeah cheers mate. Definitely not worth getting crook. Doing as much as possible without overdoing it. So tough riding such a boring loop... FARK ME 😳😳🤣🤣🤣 Good work with the Pilates 👏👏👏👏 I tried Yoga when I first met J. I fell asleep in the class and snored and wasn't allowed back... LOL 🤷♂️ Pilates is Hardcore from what I understand. Does it require a leotard? And will Stikman be wearing one?

I'm surprised it wasn't as boring as batpoop. I only did a 50 minute workout on zwift and was crazy bored.
And I also did a 20 minute pilates session. It's slowly killing me. lol

And no, Stikman will not be wearing a leotard, for all our sakes.

Good effort there Sammy.
I haven't turned a pedal in 16 days but jumped on Zwift this morning. Did a 10 min ride for calibration, then an 'float ride' on Tempest Fugit, 18.1 kn, 30.09, 222 av watts.
Have a run with Flipper planned for later this arvo.

These longer sessions won't be possible during the week so I'll have to split them up. Morning and night, which will slow me down. But 🤷♂️ it's just a bit of fun. And truth be told... The intensity that I'm riding at is EXACTLY what I need to rebuild proper deep aerobic fitness. It's just not sexy or great for the ego 😂😂😂😂🤷♂️👍👍

Solid Nullaboring ride today.
84k in 2:34 NP 184 IF .75 VI 1.11
Got bored after 53min. Threw in tempo effort and sprints to maintain interest.
This certainly is NULLABORING.
Ate lots of cashews and drank 3ltr of electrolyte.
Off to the beach now

That's some good steady riding Sammy. It is boring on the trainer. In Zwift, I do everything on the virtual TT bike, just to make it a bit harder but I'm also sat on the TT bike in the trainer. I play games to see how long I can climb in the aero bars.
Today I Decided to go badge hunting on Zwift.
Muir and the Mountain. 1.36.31 , 915mtrs, 191 av watts. I did try to hit 100 kph on the radio tower but only managed 95kph, boo

Cheers FP
I've tried to hit 100kmh down that hill too... No good.
1hr Tempus Fugit regeneration effort today. Shocking sleep and my head feels bad, possibly signalling a return of the sickness. So I went easy.
Really don't know how folks do ultra distance cycling... Hardcore

We'll need to do something to get the kid moving, other than that, today I will do another session on Zwift, the FTP builder program thingy and another round of pilates practice. Bloody hell that is a tough workout and I am only learning the beginner beginner basics!

Pilates is both matwork and work on the reformer. It's a lot of movement pattern work. The primary focus is on core stability and strength. Providing the base for everything else to be able to work properly. In addition to that, it's also learning how to move properly.
Next month I'm starting a course to become an instructor. What I am doing now is getting to learn the basics as well as getting something resembling some basic strength so I don't look like a complete goose during the course. lol

Increased the intensity a bit more this morning. I hit the reset button this morning as well, made the commitment last night but the scales reinforced it this morning.

My training today will involve 10 hrs of sanding, filling, sanding again, preparing the lounge room for painting on the weekend.
I'm putting it down as a core strength day haha

Today is one of those days here that makes it really hard to get moving, have slept in (mind you up at 12.30 as my wife thought she heard something 'flapping' on the roof), it's cold, the fire went out over night in the fireplace, rain has soaked everything, windy with reports of heaps of trees and branches down, but time to get rugged up and get out moving for a bit

Stikman and I are doing 42.2 in 42. Last night we did 10k walk, today we did 16k run/walk. Later tonight we will do a 6k walk. Tomorrow morning we will do teh remainder as a run/walk. The weather has been delightful.

1 hour of pilates class plus 3km run/walk.
Much fatigue in the body after the 42.2 in 42 over the weekend.

In the last 2wks I've put in over 80 hrs work on our lounge room (which is quite a feat seeing how it isn't that large). Been rubbish for training, maybe good for core! I finished it yesterday, taking it easy today, hen back to running approx 45-50km p/w plus Zwift.
Can't wait, seems a lot easier than decorating. Thankfully, iy was the last room in the house, we've done all the others.

I did my first decent run yesterday since this covid started, took the kids to the local outdoor velodrome to let them expel some energy, took my dog on a run around the outside - she seemed to not be liking it. Ditched the dog at the 3km mark to my wife and picked up over 1 minute per km thereafter.
Been getting a sore heel after running or similar lately, had a chiro appointment and mentioned it, bit of adjustment on the foot, will see how it goes tomorrow

Anyone else having problems with working from home and sleeping in? Been slowly trying to move my alarm back to the normal time, but seem to be sleeping through it more often than not - pre Corona I rarely had to use it, would often be up and checking social media before it went off, which was then my cue to step away from the phone and get into training.
Slept in this morning, but still got down to the gym for half an hour. Have scheduled in a session on the spin bike, and another on the rower as breaks during the day - 5pm will be run with the dog for about 7kms

I have 4 cats. No alarm is required. Ever.
I've been running daily which is starting to improve quite a bit. Just 3ks so far, moving up to 4 this week. We did a 55k ride yesterday and a 3k ROTB. We then went home and lazed in front of the TV for literally the remainder of the day remarking how it felt like we'd done an IM. LOL
So soft.
