Good run this morning, plus combination of weights and cardio to get a good shine on. Got Wednesday off work this week (been told to take a RDO a week for a while to get my balance back down), so looking forward to a big day then

Nuthin'.
I have DOMS from parkrun. And I am in the final weeks of uni semester. Pretty much all I do is study, eat, drink wine and shout at Stikman for trying to be nice to me.

So I must be the ONLY person on Transitions training. LOL. A 12 km run yesterday around Thirlmere Lakes and a 3 km swim today.
My son and I are looking around for trail runs at the moment. We have found a couple (5kms to 30 kms) within 45 mins from my place. We have joined a trail running club. Clappers has joined too. He ran the UTA50 on the weekend. Great effort.

2hr ride with 60 min rotb. Still feeling pretty fresh. How many of you train by feel i.e if your not hopelessly fatigued do you keep adding volume until you hit a wall, have a rest week rinse repeat?
Thinking of a long run tomorrow...

Thinking of a long run tomorrow... Err on the side of less. That repeated "less" over time is more via the lack of need to have days off

This Morning What did my workout look like? 12k run, perfectly clear, except for the mist rising off the lake. Pity about the temp, -3 when I started, and even with winter gloves on, full feeling didn't hit the fingers until 4k in Training for an IM in Sept, while living in Canberra seems like a bad idea.

You should come over here, -3 is what it warms up to by midday if we're lucky in winter Very easy 10km trail run for me last nut. 57:40 at 5.47 pace and only 150 mtrs vert.

1600m swim Paddles and Bouy 3x10 minutes and a 50m cool down
Easy as possible because my HRV said so this morning. Since I have been paying attention to it I've avoided long bouts of zero training. It's complicated and I don't fully understand it but it works for me

Let's just say....nothing, with the exception of panic related to upcoming exams. That's about all that is getting the HR up at the moment.

Since our direction is we must work at home unless we have an excuse (ongoing), been adding in 3 x 10 minute breaks a day to get in some online pilates or yoga sessions in. Pop it up on my screen and get down on the carpet behind to stretch out. Hope I don't have a camera malfunction at some stage

Went to do some technique drills on the Trials bike. Forgot the magnetic lanyard. Came home and had a bottle of red 👍

Slept instead of riding the bike, happy with that decision. 2.5km swim at lunch

Interested to hear more, start another thread somewhere if you like. Moto trials. 250cc two stroke Bike. Aim is to make the least amount of mistakes and not put a foot on the ground or rock or anything while moving through a section. It's a new sport to me. I'm used to going flat effing out dodging trees in Enduro. This is an accuracy and concentration game. Great for disconnecting from stuff. Club is great, people are from a wide range of backgrounds. Really enjoy it. 3hrs on the Bike gets me more sore than Busso did

I’ve exercised 3 days in a row. First time since 2019 I’ve done that. Ride some streets of Melbourne on Rouvy earlier

Did a solid hour of yard work yesterday as passive recovery from Saturday's run. Will head either for 40km on the bike tonight with my club or a 13km trail run with friends.
